Before this course, I envisioned being able to apply more technology applications in my classroom lessons; and achieved to a point, since my classroom has two student computers per 25 students.
I wasn’t versed in the Texas long range plan for technology, Technology TEKS, blogged and followed a blog. Having understood these concepts, I can use the applications personally, and collaboratively.
I can offer ideas to the Campus Improvement, or Operations teams (I participate in both), train others on some of the technology applications, if needed.
I will blog more, because it facilitates communication with stakeholders, and getting other’s input and ideas, having meetings or conferences, without meeting face to face; also be accessible to students if either they or I are absent from school, by sending lessons, assignments, and other communication to them or others from wherever I am, so blogging is very significant to the 21st century educator and learner.
